Classification

Membership
Ordinary Members
Any qualified medical practitioner in Hong Kong who is interested in the management in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
Associate Members
Any person, local or overseas, proposed, seconded and passed in a council meeting shall become an associate member.
Honorary Members
Honorary member conferred under exceptional circumstances by the Society as a sign of respect and appreciation to a leader in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery who has made significant contributions to the Society.
Life Members
Ordinary / Associate Members who paid a life membership fee shall become a life member.
Annual subscription
1. Ordinary member : HKD 100
2. Associate member : HKD 80
3. Life member : HKD 1000 (Medical practitioners)
HKD 300 (Other persons)

With attached cheque made payable to Hong Kong Society of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Limited. Successful applicant will receive the official receipt by post.
A member may resign by notice in writing to the Honorary Secretary but he shall be liable for the payment of subscription for the current year in which he resigns. When a member ceases to be a member of the Society either by resignation or otherwise, the Society shall not return any subscription paid by such member before he ceases to be a member.
